I've always enjoyed building with wood and in the last few years it has turned into a hobby that occupies my time now that I'm retired.  From buildings down to small pieces, it's all fun.  I specify wood because I've tried welding, and I have zero talent for it. 

 

I decided to put together a description of some of the projects and the pieces that I've built in this website because I also enjoy designing websites.  I'm also doing this because there is some interesting background to some of the pieces that my family might enjoy.

Please don't assume these are in any chronological order, they are not.  I'm putting them in as I decide what I want to say about each piece or project.

After the fact, I realized that it would have been nice if I took pictures during the build to show the progress and how it came together, I didn't do that too often.  I should have.
