North to Fairbanks
After breakfast this morning, we'll leave the Inn at Tern Lake to start our drive to the Northern Sky Lodge which is about 35 miles southwest of Fairbanks. The image below is of the area near Willow, AK which is about 1/3 of our journey north.

We will be back here in a couple of days on the Holland America part of our tour, but I wanted to stop on our way back to Fairbanks so we could spend as much time as we wanted in the visitor center. We also plan to drive the 15 miles into the park that is allowed to personal vehicles.
