Visit Keukenhof Gardens and the castle estate.
Enjoy lunch at Hofboerderij restaurant on the estate grounds.
At the end of the day, take the bus/train back to the Boutique Hotel Zaan.

Verify bus 858 Schedule in 2023
Use the OV Chipkaart for train fare to schiphol.
It looks like the OV Chipkaart can be used for the 858 bus, but it may be better to buy a combo ticket that includes Keukenhot admission to get "no line, no wait" entrance to the gardens once there.
6:45 am – Walk to Zaanse Schans train station, platform 2 – about 8 minutes
6:59 am – Take Sprinter 4025 to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, then walk to platform 11
7:18 am – Take Sprinter 4614 to Schiphol Airport, walk to platform for Keukenhof Express bus 858.
8:00 am – Take Bus 858 to Keukenhof Gardens
Tickets for 2023 will go on sale in their webshop starting mid-November 2022. This is an update based on checking for tickets in early October 2022.
The gardens daily hours: open at 8:00 am and close at 7:30 pm.
Open from March 23, 2023 to May 14, 2023.
The castle is only open infrequently for tours. I’ve only seen 2 days in September and 1 in May.
You are welcomed and encouraged to walk the grounds and take as many pictures as you want.

The restaurant is open from 10 am to 5 pm and it's located on west side of the castle estate grounds which are west of the Keukenhof Gardens.
The menu looks interesting. I have no idea what the menu items are, but they look good.

2:30 pm – Walk to Keukenhof Gardens main entrance
3:00 pm – Take Bus 858 to Schiphol Airport, walk to platform 1-2
3:32 pm – Take Sprinter 4657 to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, then walk to platform 3
3:48 pm – Take Sprinter 4048 to zaandijk, Zaanse Schans station
4:00 pm - Walk to Boutique Hotel Zaan - Lagedijk 32, 1544 BG Zaandijk, Netherlands. From train station use walkway under the road and tracks east to Stationstraat. Continue east on Stationstraat to Hoogstraat and then turn left on Hoogstraat (which morphs into Lagedijk) and walk north to Guisweg (aka Julianabrug)
