Start with breakfast at the Hotel Volendam.
Then travel to the Rijksmuseum, get some lunch, then across the street to the
Diamond Museum.
Then cross back over Paulus Potterstraat to the Moco Museum and maybe make a stop at the Stedelijk Museum. Then up to Dam Square to visit De Nieuwe Kerk.
At the end of the day, it's back to the Hotel Volendam for dinner and sleep.
Use the OV chipkaart for your bus fare to Noord.
8:13 am – Take EDS bus 312 from the Katwoude, Hotel Volendam bus stop to the bus stop on the west side of Amsterdam Station Noord.
8:31 am – Walk from the west side bus arrival terminal east to the Noord Metro station.

Use the Iamsterdam City Card for your fare from Noord to Vijzelgracht.
8:43 am – Take Metro 52 to Vijzelgracht Metro Station

8:44 am – Walk to the Rijksmuseum.
When you come up from the Metro station, u-turn at the top of the station stairs and head west on Weteringschans, past the traffic circle about a block to Speigelgracht and turn left onto Museumbrug.
Continue on Museumbrug (south) which turns into Museumstraat and heads straight for the entrance to the Rijksmuseum.
The museum has on display 8,000 objects of art and history, from their total collection of 1 million objects from the years 1200–2000, among which are some masterpieces by Rembrandt, Frans Hals, and Johannes Vermeer. The museum also has a small Asian collection, which is on display in the Asian pavilion.

You can look at all the items on display, and get it done in under 2 1/2 hours, if you only spend 1 second on each item. Or, you might spend time in a few specfic areas and spend a little more time in each these areas.
The Rijksmuseum is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Iamsterdam City Card can be used for free admission to the museum.

To get to the Foodcrib from the Rijksmuseum, leave the Rijksmuseum from the west exit and continue to walk west until you’re about to walk into the big pool, then turn right.

Keep to the left of the museum store and pass it until you can take a left between the trees and walk down in between the stalls in the trees. The Foodcrib is along the tree lined sidewalk

I picked this place because it has veggie options. It’s about a block southwest of the Rijksmuseum.

Walk to the Diamant Museum by going toward the Van Gogh Museum and at the end of the trees use the cross walk to the other side of Paulus Potterstraat.

Go back east on Paulus Potterstraat about a half a block to the museum.

Available start times are 9:00 am to 4:15 pm every 15 minutes. Looks like you can book about 4 months in advance. The museum is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

You already have a full day of museums, but this is free with the Iamsterdam City Card. If you get thru the other stops around the Museumplein today, you might want to stroll thru here and maybe take in the highlights.

It is entirely possible that you use up your time today before you leave the Museumplein area. If that happens you can catch the GVB Tram 12 up to Centraal Station and then catch Bus 316 up to Volendam. This will bypass your stop at Nieuwe Kerk and Magna Plaza.

You'll use your Iamsterdam City Card for the tram to Centraal Station and you OV Chipkaart for Bus 316.

The church is north of the Royal Palace on the northwest corner of Dam Square.
The church is open from 10 am to 5 pm everyday.
Magna Plaza is across Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal street to the west of De Nieuwe Kerk.
Magna Plaza is a high-end shopping mall. Might be fun to noodle for an hour or so.
