Drive to Haleakala Summit

We'll try to pick a clear day to drive to the summit of Haleakala
There's a couple of national park visitor centers on Haleakala. Plus, there's assorted pullovers including one to look at Rainbow Eucalypsis trees. We'll take our time to take in the views.

Kula Botanical Garden is located on the slopes of Haleakala and encompasses 8 acres of colorful and unique plants, amazing rock formations, a covered bridge, waterfall, koi pond, aviary and the carved tiki exhibit. We have hundreds of varieties of plants for you to enjoy and photograph. Most plants are labeled with their botanical name, common name, and country of origin.
